We support undocumented people and some others falling through the cracks of the system
Humanitarian Projects Amsterdam
Since September 2016 Human Aid Now has been providing basic humanitarian aid to extremely vulnerable groups of people in Amsterdam.
We provide weekly food packages and some hygiene items, in close cooperation with grassroot organizations in the neighborhoods and with the Red Cross as dedicated partner.
This food program is financed by the municipality and by a group of charity funds. We also have several related projects to meet other basic needs of the beneficiary population.
Previous Projects
From 2016-2024, Human Aid Now (initially named Human Aid in Greece) has supported small-scale, flexible grassroots organizations providing humanitarian help to refugees on the borders of Europe.
As of 2025, this ‘Grassroot Accelerator Programme’ will be transferred to Haella Foundation, a Dutch charity already supporting many of our projects abroad.
They have a small professional staff and are better equipped to take the necessary fundraising to a next level.

Do you work at a company that has to deal with unsold stock? We are happy to receive clothes, shoes, underwear and socks, hygiene products, blankets and towels etc. and give it a useful destination. Contact us!
